Okay so I have been experimenting with cycling my meds for the last few months and have some very interesting results to share..
I have been on HRT for 6 or 7 years now and I thought I had gotten everything I was going to get out of HRT and yet I have definitely seen new development since I started cycling I can only imagine what kind of effect it might have had if I woulda been cycling all along... Even others have noticed the new development so it's a big diffrence and I can say there hasn't been any new growth in years to my knowledge prior to cycling. I have also been feeling better emotionally imho.
Basically it goes like this my normal dose for pills is 3 pills I'm not going to get specific with exact mg cuase that is something dependent on the exact type of estrogen you take and the mg per pill. I'm just giving an example of how I turned my normal dose into a cycling dose.So my normal dose is 3 pills daily. I changed that to.So in 30 days I'm still taking the same total amount of medication (30 days = 90 pills) Just cycled to match a normal female Estrogen pattern. (read my HRT faq for info on cycling and on how estrogen receptors become clogged)
- Days 01-10 -- 2 pills
- Days 11-20 -- 5 pills
- Days 21-30 -- 2 pills
I also take progesterone (provera) I cycled it too. Normally 1 pill daily.
- Days 01-15 -- 0 pills
- Days 16-30 -- 2 pills
I want to be clear.I do not advocate changing your medication or dosing schedule without talking to your doctor. Also Cycling could cause side effects like PMS like symptoms and mood swings. Although I haven't experienced much of this kind of side effect it is possible or even worse. I am just sharing my own experiences to educate others on what positive personal experience it's had with me. If others are cycling their HRT I would be interested in hearing their experiences to compare.
