    Question HRT & Cycling

Okay so I have been experimenting with cycling my meds for the last few months and have some very interesting results to share..

I have been on HRT for 6 or 7 years now and I thought I had gotten everything I was going to get out of HRT and yet I have definitely seen new development since I started cycling I can only imagine what kind of effect it might have had if I woulda been cycling all along... Even others have noticed the new development so it's a big diffrence and I can say there hasn't been any new growth in years to my knowledge prior to cycling. I have also been feeling better emotionally imho.

Basically it goes like this my normal dose for pills is 3 pills I'm not going to get specific with exact mg cuase that is something dependent on the exact type of estrogen you take and the mg per pill. I'm just giving an example of how I turned my normal dose into a cycling dose.
So my normal dose is 3 pills daily. I changed that to.
    • Days 01-10 -- 2 pills
    • Days 11-20 -- 5 pills
    • Days 21-30 -- 2 pills
So in 30 days I'm still taking the same total amount of medication (30 days = 90 pills) Just cycled to match a normal female Estrogen pattern. (read my HRT faq for info on cycling and on how estrogen receptors become clogged)
I also take progesterone (provera) I cycled it too. Normally 1 pill daily.
    • Days 01-15 -- 0 pills
    • Days 16-30 -- 2 pills

    I want to be clear.
I do not advocate changing your medication or dosing schedule without talking to your doctor. Also Cycling could cause side effects like PMS like symptoms and mood swings. Although I haven't experienced much of this kind of side effect it is possible or even worse. I am just sharing my own experiences to educate others on what positive personal experience it's had with me. If others are cycling their HRT I would be interested in hearing their experiences to compare.

(for the record I don't endorse or suggest you buy anything from this site or it's owner IMHO she is a profiteer that is literally making a living out of selling stuff to the community. If She really wanted to help like she says she does she would be providing things like the voice training videos free of charge via you tube not charging upto 20-50$ for them! I know hosting a website can cost lots of money but she could ask for donations to help fund the site also. Instead she lives in a huge house very comfortably off the money she gets from us...)

Ariel honey, I was wondering if you could be a little more specific on what/how much developmental changes you experienced ? I know that any changes you had are not necessarily applicable to me or anyone else, but I was just curious if you would be willing to share. Thanks sweetie.

well my breasts are definitely more perky and much more pronounced as well as my skin is feeling much less dry.. The breasts is really the most obvious effect... we're not speaking cup sizes kinda difference yet it's only been a few months but definitely bigger, fuller, firmer and more perky. If given a few more months it could definitely be an extra cup size.

    Well,
I had a wonderful visit with my therapist and Endo on Monday. Lots of good to report: informing more people of the real me, introducing myself as Laura Jane, being accepted as female here and there, the FFS stuff (already report on another post), and thinking about the official name change soon.
The endo changed my HRT. I am now on Estrodiol, instead of Premarin! Yea! Dr E. is going to attend SCC (wish I had planned to attend) She's going to find out the latest and greatest on Hormones.

    Just a little update.
    Laura Jane.

I forgot to mention: Dr Emory gave me several boxes of Estrodiol gel. She said the company sends her these "sample" boxes and she doesn't know what to do with them. She said try this on your breasts also it may help reduce facial hair growth. I have been using it only on my breasts, after I shower. I'll let ya'll know if I show any improvement but it would be hard to determine if it is the gel or it may be the Estrodiol pills. Progress is progress, I'll let ya'll know.

^^^^^if it wasn't for the possible negative reaction by self-medicating, I'd be asking.............you wanna give away some of those samples ?
